About the Comic

Open House is an interactive comic presented through a First-Person POV- where the reader explores an evicted home-turned haunted house through the eyes of a realtor. They must make their way around the house, gaining clues and insight on what happened- and better yet- how they’ll find their way back out.

This comic was made as my 2025 Senior Thesis  Project. The comic works to explore the medium all while giving the audience a sense of choice through how they experience the comic.  

About the Creator

My name is Gianna Garcia, and I am a recent graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design! I am an Illustration/Animation major with an interest in creating interactive experiences with my work while playing around with how far a medium can go. I enjoy working in mixed-media, usually combining both digital illustrations with 3D modeling.
